CASTING NOTICE: 208FRINGE LLC
WORKING TITLE: “THE LIVING ROOM”
TWO ROLES for a multimedia production to be filmed in Boise, ID over the winter and into the spring.
COMPENSATION IS BASED IN PROFIT SHARING AFTER PRODUCTION COSTS ARE MET.
Performers will be participating in an extensive movement based, improvisational, devising process to create the day to day activities of this relationship, which will appear to take place over the duration of one year. These moments will be captured on film and projected during live performances.
CHARACTER BREAKDOWN: Two young people, ages 22-27, living together in a one bedroom apartment in a romantic and sexually active relationship. There is no written dialogue for these characters. Ideal candidates for these roles will be able to develop a backstory for the individuals, as well as their relationship. Improvisation and movement skills are a must. We support LGTBQ and DISABLED ACTORS.
This project has the potential to contain explicit material including full nudity, sexually explicit actions, fictional representations of intimate partner violence, etc,. We are taking care to supply artists and crew that are appropriate for the filming of this material. We have secured a safe and private filming location. Our first and foremost priority is establishing a safe work environment for performers to create in. We are seeking talent who will contribute to a safe, productive, and expressive environment as well.
We will be scheduling auditions as we receive responses but will be casting as early as 02/20/2019.
